Bored with getting shot down when submitting mathematical articles to see reviewed journals? Rejecta Mathematica involves the rescue. This new website, which at the moment has a name for papers, is self-described as follows:
Rejecta Mathematica is a brand new, open entry, on-line journal that publishes solely papers which were rejected from peer-reviewed journals (or conferences with comparable evaluate requirements) within the mathematical sciences. We’re at the moment searching for submissions for our inaugural subject.
Contemplating that there shall be little or no editorial management (no peer opinions) of the revealed articles, will probably be attention-grabbing to see the way it’ll evolve. Will it’s stuffed with under-appreciated pearls of genius or will it turn out to be the area of math cranks? I can’t assist however hope that will probably be a mixture of each, if nothing else, for the leisure worth. We’ll see the place it goes… and tell us when you intend to submit any papers to them. By the best way, if you’re shot down by Rejecta Mathematica too, chances are high that your paper sucks. However when you actually imagine that there’s advantage to it, take into account Math-Weblog as your Rejecta Rejecta Mathematica. 😉
